Piran’s Angels is the name for Newquay Street Pastors who are out late evenings offering support to those in need. They also meet once a week on Tuesday afternoons at NCC from 3-4pm to pray for the community and their work. Anyone with a heart for the community is welcome to join them.

Newquay Flower Festival will soon be here. Initial preparations include assembling a roster of volunteers to ‘church sit’ between 10am and 6pm between Thursday 23rd and Monday 27th May (12 noon to 6pm Sunday). If you can spare a couple of hours, please see Tricia who has a list. There will be catering over the festival so coffee, lunch and cream teas all available on site.

On 7th July St Michaels will be welcoming our new Deacon, Lee, for the first time. His ordination will take place at the Cathedral on Friday 28th June and all are welcome to attend this service.

Christian Aid Week runs from Sunday 12th to Saturday 18th May. Volunteers are required to help with a collection at Morrisons on Monday 13th (See Sylvia) and there is a cream tea on Wednesday 15th May at The Salvation Army Hall in Crantock Street in Aid.
